Strigino Airport (IATA: GOJ, ICAO: UWGG) — is the regional international airport serving the city of Nizhny Novgorod and its region, Russia. It is located on the outskirts of the city's Avtozavodsky District, 14 km (8.5 mi) southwest of city centre. Besides serving as a civil airport, airport is a base for 675th squadron of special army forces, which operates Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft.
Airport serves international and regional flights, as well as being the main alternate for Moscow air hub (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo Intl airports).
Strigino's intense passenger traffic rate increase provoked an interest from multiple stock companies. Starting from 2011 they developed a 10-year reconstruction plan from 2011-2021, broken down into 3 phases. This programm provides plans of building a new passenger terminal with a capability of serving more than 1,5 mil passengers annually.

- Expect RWY 18R/36L for arrivals and departures. RWY 18L/36L is in use as main taxiway and closed for operations.
