Dear friends!
We are glad to invite you to the next "OverReal" fly-in. At this time, Yekaterinburg Koltsovo International airport will be stuffed!
Being the largest airport in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Koltsovo also serves nearby towns such as Aramil, Sysert, and Polevskoy. The airport is a hub for Ural Airlines and RusLine. Due to its location in the center of Russia, Yekaterinburg's airport is included in the "Priority Airports" list of Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia). Last year, Koltsovo Airport had a passenger traffic of more than 6 million.
Construction of Koltsovo's original aerodrome was between 1928-1930 by demand of the Air Force Institute of the USSR. It was primarily built as a military aerodrome. On July 10, 1943, the airport gained domestic status. This made Koltsovo the first airport in the USSR to have civil and military status at once. Flights from Yekaterinburg to Moscow were conducted daily.
Get your charts ready and pour a spare ton of fuel in your tank - the queues may reach dozens due to traffic congestion during single-runway ops. At present we usually use RNAV STARs, be ready for this. If your aircraft for any reason does not provide RNAV, do not forget to report it to the ATC!
There is no any scenery with actual parking stands numeration and location, so do not use actual charts for parking. Here’s the chart for both existing sceneries and ATC sectors files.
Also, do not forget that in Russia (except Saint-Petersburg FIR), QFE and meters below the transition level are still used. The conversion table of heights and altitudes by QFE and QNH you can find in charts. Pay attention that controller will give you QFE and height in meters and you should convert them according to the table before setting it on MCP.

Booking is avaliable here. It's allowable to change aircraft types for the same class, e.g. Airbus A319/320/321 within the family or for Boeing 737 family. You also may add your own flight with its number, ETD and ETA, and aircraft type.
